Sick of spilling food down the sides of your jars every time you fill them?
The Food Fresh™ Stainless Steel Food Funnel Kit sits snugly in the mouth of your mason jar and guides food straight in. It works for dry goods, sauces, soups and leftovers. You get no spills or wasted food, and the jar rim stays clean. Includes a wide-mouth funnel + a regular-mouth funnel + a sieve.
- Fill jars without the mess. Food goes into the jar, not across your bench.
- Clean rims mean better seals. Food on the rim can stop a lid sealing properly. Keeping the rim clean helps your Food Fresh vacuum seal hold.
- Built to last. Stainless steel won’t stain, crack or hold onto smells the way plastic can.
- Fits the jars you already own. Suits regular and wide-mouth mason jars.
- Easy to clean. Dishwasher safe, or a quick rinse and it’s done.
- Everything in the kit. One wide-mouth funnel, one regular-mouth funnel and a strainer insert.
Try it for 30 days. If you’re not happy with it, send it back and we’ll refund you in full. No fuss.
Fill it. Seal it. Shelve it.

Have questions?
What’s in the kit?
You get two stainless steel funnels and a strainer insert. The large funnel is 14.2cm across with a 5.7cm spout, and the small funnel is 10.4cm across with a 3.6cm spout. The 7.9cm strainer sits inside the large funnel.
Which jars do they fit?
The large funnel fits wide-mouth mason jars, and the small funnel fits regular-mouth jars. The small funnel also works with any container that has an opening wider than 4cm, like spice jars and storage canisters.
Do these work with the Food Fresh™ Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer?
Yes, and they work well together. Food left on a jar rim is one of the most common reasons a vacuum lid won’t seal. The funnel keeps the rim clean, so your lids seal properly the first time.
Can I use them for hot jam and sauces?
Yes. Stainless steel won’t melt, warp or soften the way plastic funnels can. The steel does get hot, though, including the handle, so use a tea towel or oven mitt when you’re filling a big batch.
What’s the strainer for?
Put it in the large funnel to catch seeds, pulp, skins or herbs as you pour. It’s handy for stocks, infused oils, cold brew and smooth jams.
Can I use it for dry goods?
Yes. Use the large funnel for rice, oats, pasta and lentils, and the small one for spices, sugar and powders. Before you pour dry goods, make sure the funnel is completely dry so nothing clumps.
What are they made of, and how do I clean them?
They're made from 18-8 stainless steel. Stainless steel isn’t porous, so it won’t hold stains, odours or flavours from tomato, turmeric or garlic. Wash it in warm soapy water [or in the dishwasher] and dry it straight away to keep it looking its best.
